Just be prepared to wait. Dr. Campana is a good opthamologist but he operates his practice as an assembly line. He apparently schedules people for time slots 15-30 minutes earlier than he actually plans to see them, thus preventing him from losing any time because a patient is late. After sitting there waiting for every appointment for many years, I can assure you this is frustrating.
My Dad has been Dr. Campanas patient for at least ten years and he even did the laser surgery on his right eye. We have always used Medicare card but when my Dad was waiting for a new card his appointment was canceled twice. The lady in charge (Don't know her name and don't want to know either) said that even you have approval letter the Dr. can not see you till you get the actuall card. Number one she lost a client just because of the way she explained it. There are plenty of other Dr.s which are even closer to us than Dr. Campana, however since my Dad did the surgery with him, wanted to go back to the same Dr. Didn't expect the 'Not welcomed' treatment we received.
