I recently had a funeral service for my Mother at nearby St James Catholic Church. As Mom had passed in Houston, TX and wanted to be brought to rest with Dad in Virginia, she was cremated. Transporting her to Virginia on the plane was odd enough, but I also needed to transfer her from an unattractive box to a pretty urn for the funeral mass and burial. I contacted Murphy's from home (thank you Jennifer) and once in town arranged a time once to stop-by as I was not comfortable making the transfer myself. At no cost to me, they politely, respectfully, and privately managed this need for us (thank you Greg). It was very kind and I am truly grateful for the service.
At a packed memorial service, the microphones did not work and the staff was ineffective at correcting the problem. The many people standing in the hallways and outside rooms were unable to hear or participate in any part of the service. It was a tragedy compounding a tragedy.
Sent the documents that need to be signed to the wrong doctor! Then said they may get to my grandfathers cremation next week. YOUR SCREW UP! He should be number 1 priority!! Horrible to put a family through this because your employees screwed up!
