It is a small library but it has a lovely selection of science fiction books. The librarians are friendly and it has lots of fun activities for kids. They also have an entire section of comic books and manga if that's your thing.

I donated books to this library. I was told volunteers go through them and decide what to keep and not to keep. I hope these people have some experience with books or are former librarians. Because I'm not sure volunteers have the judgementnor expertise to know a decent book or not. Or they might use there own biases about books or personal interests and make judgements that may be wrong. Just because it's old I'm afraid they may throw them out. I turned in a book to the library that I bought for 99 cents from Goodwill Industry's called the Amazing Mr. Hughes by Noah Dietrich. It is only available if you want to pay $62.00 for it now on the internet.

Got chased away because I was taking a short quiet cell phone call. Was on the phone for 5 seconds when librarian comes up and says "Excuse me! Cell phones are not allowed" I assured her that I would be done in half a minutes and walked away.

She chased me down ten seconds later and very angrily told me that I would have to leave now.

I understand wanting a quiet study/reading areab and not wanting disruptive cell phone calls but kicking out someone for a minute quiet cell phone call seemed excessive. It's a community space not a temple.

Small city library. Some kid space reading area, tax forms (now online?), local historical reference information, say wanted to learn about the falls church loop, a walking trail that goes behind some houses, might be able to look it up, get help, as not included in the Fairfax county bike map (add insert?). Reciprocity with Fairfax county and some jurisdictions for a library card, might renew or start over, been a while...

Librarian was rude to me and started yelling at me as soon as I walked in to study. She told me to shut up while I was starting to sit down in the basement.

Wonderful Library!

It would get 1 star but the children's programs are nice.
