I've been there a couple of times, the store has much to offer and they aren't joking when it comes to selling at a discount, when compared to Ashley's they offer a lot more in for less price. The sales staff and office staff are great people and truly help you, but also let you have your space as a customer and don't confront you like those at Ashley's. Overall the store is one of, if not the best furniture store in the area.
Sew was understanding, knowledgeable, super patient and constantly guided us toward making the right choice as per our budget. He deserves 5 star, definitely. However, I am so disappointed with the delivery team. Our apartment complex management did not need me to reserve the elevator, but the delivery guys argued and resisted to take our furniture and assemble them. I offered them to go with me talk with the apartment complex office management and hear from them that we didn't need to reserve the elevator for new furniture which they didn't accept and nor did they want to take our furniture in. Almost 1 hour was wasted in arguing with these guys and their manager. I eventually had to offer them to either take them to the elevator which was completely free and ready and working or take the furniture back to where they came from. One of the guys was constantly laughing and mocking me when I told them what the office manager says! It was a bittersweet experience for me to buy from Bob's Discount Furniture.
I have furnished my house twice using this location. I purchased a couch with for my first apartment here in 2014! I bought the Bob's Goof Insurance, and I am glad that I did. 2017, the couch had a manufacturer's defect, and with the insurance I was able to get a credit for a new couch. Bob's does live up to it's warranty if you are persistent. The Falls Church location, everyone is very nice but sometimes overly aggressive to sell. However, my family and I met a very nice spirited saleswoman by the name of Genet. She helped me make a selection, and even though I did not purchase the same day she was very friendly and gracious to assist me. When I was ready to buy a week later, she was very helpful in explaining everything and setting up my insurance and delivery schedule. If you are looking to buy furniture, go in and ask for Genet ! She is most pleasant and will help find the furniture you need without all the pressure.
Had a pleasant and quick experience with Salesperson named Genet. she worked with me well and my 3 kids who I brought. Prices are very reasonable and excited for a quick delivery. Definitely will recommend to friends.
Had a great experience here with Thomas Tomlin. He helped me find the perfect bedroom set, couch, and other items for my new house. Really enjoyed talking with him and appreciated his patience with me (came in three times before buying). I referred a friend to Tom as well and he also enjoyed working with him. We're both loving our furniture. Good quality, stylish, and comfortable.
