My lab mix has been increasingly afraid of trips to our old vet so I thought I'd try a change. Love them! Caring Hands was very patient and friendly. They were able to do a thorough exam because they kept him so calm. They even have better prices. I've found my new vet.
We had a great experience. Had to take our 11 year old Welsh Terrier in as she was not herself, experiencing incontinence issues. I called on a Friday morning and we were seen the same day. The person answering the phone was professional and friendly- even offered to call our prior vet in San Diego to obtain records so they would be on hand for our appt. The vet techs were great, very gentle and thorough. They asked all the right questions and were calm. The vet herself couldn't have been nicer or more caring. She did a complete exam, ultrasound and urinalysis. After that she gave me the option of running a blood panel- at no time did I feel pressured or made to feel guilty to run such tests. I opted to do the blood testing and senior blood panel to rule out kidney issues. They spent well over an hour with us and said that the results would be in the following day. Saturday morning the office called just to see how our Lucy was doing and assured us that we would get a call from the Dr later in the afternoon with the results, which did happen. Results were clear and she was put on an incontinence medication. Overall I give this office 5 stars. Not only are they friendly, the office and waiting areas are spotless, they have cold bottled water and a coffee machine, plenty of treats for our fur babies and it doesn't have that animal smell. Thank you Caring Hands! We will return!
